Christopher Jackson’s ‘The Beast Comes At Midnight’ Announces Male Leads

It was announced that three male actors—Michael McKeaver (100 Acres of Hell 2019), Robert “Bronzi” Kovacs (Death Kiss 2018 – read our review here) and Michael Paré (Eddie and the Cruisers 1983, Painkiller 2021 – read our review here), have been cast in Christopher Jackson’s (Terror Tales TV series) upcoming film, The Beast Comes At Midnight.

Synopsis:

In a Florida carnival town with secrets, a true crime-obsessed kid anonymously hosts a conspiracy theory podcast that is quickly gaining in popularity. While investigating a serial killer, he discovers the town may be facing an even greater threat…. a bloodthirsty beast that hunts by the light of the full moon. Nobody believes him but a popular cheerleader and a sideshow fortune teller that is hiding his past as a Cold War-era monster hunter.

The Beast Comes At Midnight will be produced by Executive Producers Ed McKeever (100 Acres of Hell) of Briefcase Pictures and newcomer Todd Oifer of Showtown American Pictures and Cineview Studios. The script was co-written by Director Christopher Jackson, both Ed and Michael McKeever, and Jason Henne (Seeing Evil 2019).

The crew also include SFX guru Joe Castro (read our interview with him here) on Creature Design and Creature FX, while the Production Art was created by newcomer Steve Gray. Music will be composed by The Prophecy’s (1995) Dennis Michael Tenney.

Filming will take place in both July and August in and around Tampa, Florida. The filmmakers are looking to showcase the amazing talent of Central Florida both in front of and behind the camera.
