Announcing Jozsef Gallai’s ‘A Stranger In The Woods’ Starring Bill Oberst, Jr. And Lynn Lowry

We are so excited to announce Jozsef Gallai’s newest project, a tense horror film called A Stranger In The Woods. We love the other films we’ve reviewed by the filmmaker, Project Skyquake (2022 – our review) and I Hear The Trees Whispering (2022 – our review), plus there’s been The Poltergeist Diaries, Spirits in the Dark, A Guidebook to Killing Your Ex, and the upcoming Aftermath. We’re looking forward to seeing what else the filmmaker has up his sleeve.

Synopsis:

A young film student is about to make a documentary about an elderly man who has been hiding from the world for many years. But as secrets from his past come to light, their strange relationship takes a fateful turn.

A message from Jozsef Gallai from the film’s crowdfunding page:

Hello there! My name is József Gallai, independent filmmaker, writer and director of horror and mystery films such as The Poltergeist Diaries, I Hear the Trees Whispering, Project Skyquake and Aftermath, to name some of them.

Over the past three years I have had the pleasure of working with Academy Award Golden Globe and Emmy nominated actors and working on exciting projects, and this picture can be the next, perhaps even more special step in that direction.

We have partial funding at the moment, but we need this campaign and your involvement to make this story a real success.

Gallai is currently crowdfunding A Stranger in the Woods to raise the $7,000 he needs to create the film. There are some pretty cool perks, including getting your photo in the movie, your product, brand or poster featured, or even have the opportunity to help form the film itself as Supervising Producer!

Gallai continues:

Our goal is to release our film worldwide (VOD, DVD, Blu-Ray, limited theatrical) and show an exciting twist on the field of horror films.

Filming will take place in October and we are planning to release the first trailer as well as finish the movie in December 2023. Our plan is to secure the first distributor of the film early 2024.
