I attended the recent Flower City Comic Con in Rochester, NY which ran from September 12th-14th 2025. What’s it all about?

Let’s Get This Show On The Road
I got there at 9:30 am and was let in the door at 10:00 am. The first thing I did was get my wristband. Shout out to the amazing Flower City Comic Con staff for an amazing job. After getting my badge I looked around the con to see which vendors, guests, attractions, etc. were there.
Next I went to see if the celebrity guests I wanted to see were there and they were. The first celebrity guest I interacted with was Megan Hollingstead who played Nurse Joy on Pokemon. I got her autograph and she was very nice to talk to.
After that I walked around the Con again. I went to a person selling autographs and looked at awhat they had for sale and picked up a Pauly Shore autograph, buddy! After that, I stopped at some of the other vendors and talked to them. Some of the vendors offered video games, movies, 3-D Printed stuff, Pokemon Cards etc. I went and got my cousin a Pokemon card as she collects them. I also got a picture with a replica of the Jurassic Park Jeep.
Time For Some Panels
After the meet and greets and some wondering around it was time for panels.
First I attended a panel with the aforementioned Megan Hollingstead. In addtion to Pokemon, she was also in other anime including Naruto and Yu-Gi-Oh.
Second I attended a panel with Guy Gilchrist who worked with Jim Henson on The Muppets, Sesame Street, and Fraggle Rock among others.

Final Thoughts
Flower City Comic Con 2025 was a success They’ve been doing this for at least 10 years. If you get a chance I’d recommend catching the next one!
