Horror Movie Heroes vs. Monsters From Other Franchises

We here at PopHorror were thinking: what would it be like if horror movie heroes took on other monsters that are not from their universe? We decided to compile a list of heroes and who we’d like to see them match up against.

FIGHT!

Why Scream's Sidney Prescott Is The Female Hero We All Deserve

Hero vs. Monster

  1. Gale Weathers from Scream takes on Michael Myers from Halloween.

I feel like this would not only be a fun match-up but also a nail bitter. I personally think Gale would survive because she’s resourceful and has escaped death quite a few times against various Ghost Faces.

2. Grace from Ready or Not takes on takes on Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street.

This one is a hard one for me. I’m not confident in who would win this battle. I definitely think it would be a pretty kick-ass showdown. Grace really won us over when she punched out the little kid who shot her in Ready or Not.

3. Laurie Strode from Halloween takes on Chucky from Child’s Play.

Laurie wins this one, hands down. Especially if it’s Laurie from the newest Halloween franchise entries. Regardless, Laurie is just a badass. There would be no messing around. She’d throw Chucky into a fire so fast. I’m not saying Chucky wouldn’t get some good shots in, but it would definitely be a win for her.

4. Sidney Prescott from Scream takes on the Leprechaun from Leprechaun.

I think Sidney takes the cake on this one. I do think if the Leprechaun has his magic, that would make it a good fight.

5. Nancy from A Nightmare on Elm Street takes on Pinhead from Hellraiser

I feel like Nancy would have a good chance at defeating Pinhead because she fought Freddy who was also otherwordly. Once again I’m having a hard time deciding who would actually take the win on this. But it would be fun to watch!

6. Ripley from Alien takes on The Creeper from Jeepers Creepers.

If anyone has a chance a beating The Creeper, it’s Ripley from Alien. I think Ripley would find a way to win this one.

7. Erin from You’re Next takes on Art the Clown from Terrifier.

I feel like this one is another tough call. While I do think Erin is incredibly smart, I just can’t help but picture the bedroom scene from Terrifier 2

8. Clarice Starling from Silence of the Lambs takes on Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th.

I think Clarice would take the win on this one, as long as she doesn’t try to arrest Jason.

9. The kids from IT take on Candyman from Candyman.

I’ll be honest, I think Candyman would take this fight. Sorry, kids.

10. Tree from Happy Death takes on the Gingerdead Man from The Gingerdead Man.

I mean, for me personally, I’d have my money on Tree for this one, because, well it’s literally a killer cookie.

Bonus Match-Up!

Asami from The Audition takes on Jigsaw from Saw

Who wins? Tell us in the comments!
