Coming Soon to Theaters – Julius Avery’s ‘The Pope’s Exorcist’

Coming soon to theaters from Sony Pictures and director Julius Avery (Son of a Gun) is a new horror thriller: The Pope’s Exorcist. The film stars Russell Crowe (Gladiator), Franco Nero (Immortalist), and Ralph Ineson (The Witch). It will hit theaters April 14, 2023.

Synopsis:

Inspired by the actual files of Father Gabriele Amorth, Chief Exorcist of the Vatican (Academy Award®-winner Russell Crowe), The Pope’s Exorcist follows Amorth as he investigates a young boy’s terrifying possession and ends up uncovering a centuries-old conspiracy the Vatican has desperately tried to keep hidden.
