The murder ignites a spree of sinister social-media messages, sweeping the students and police into a race against time to uncover the truth behind the school’s dark secrets…and the horrifying meaning of a recurring symbol: a single exclamation mark.
Initiation was directed by John Berardo (The Labyrinth), and the film was also written by Berardo with Lindsay LaVanchy (Scream: The TV Series) and Brian Frager (Short Film Hunger). The cast includes Jon Huertas (TV’s This is Us), Lochlyn Munro (TV’s Riverdale), Isabella Gomez (TV’s One Day at a Time), Froy Gutierrez (TV’s Light as a Feather), Bart Johnson (High School Musical franchise), Yancy Bulter (Kick-Ass franchise), and Gattlin Griffith (Changeling). The film looks like an all-stakes slasher. The Initiation will be available on DVD and Blu-ray on July 20, 2021. Definitely check it out for a killer good time!
