PopHorror Let's Get Scared
I have yet to meet a person who doesn’t love the Netflix Original series Stranger Things. If you don’t love it, you need to re-watch it again because this show has EVERYTHING. Fans are hoping that the series will spawn a second season, which more than likely is going to happen, but as we eagerly wait for the confirmation, our minds keep thinking about all the possibilities that can come from this show.
Theories on the alleged 2nd season, articles upon articles about the series, and amazing fan-made artwork is being created for Stranger Things every single day. Just look at our feature photo: the artwork was done by it8bit and we absolutely love it! As the series continues to gain popularity, one wonders what will come from all of this. On that note, here are 5 ‘StrangerThings’ We Foresee Happening.
5. “Eleven” Will Become A Popular Baby Name
Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) has become quite the popular character from Stranger Things. When a character is in the limelight, people often name their child after them – examples Bella (Twilight), Luna (Harry Potter), Chandler (Friends) and Gage (Pet Sematary). Or, if you’re like me and don’t have a human baby but a fur-baby, you may name them after the movie Se7en. Either way, I’m totally on board with this trend and think that Eleven is an awesome character for young girls or boys to look up too!
4. “Eleven” Tattoos or Stranger Things Tattoos in General
If you watched the series, you already know that Eleven had “11” tattooed on her, although not necessarily by choice. How much do you want to bet that people will be getting a similar tattoo in the near future? If not 11, I wouldn’t be too surprised if people added the Demogorgon monster to their collection of horror tattoos. If I had the money, I most definitely would!
3. Stranger Things Halloween Costumes
Halloween is just around the corner and I’m sure we’ll see an abundance of Harley Quinn’s roaming the streets, but what about the characters from Stranger Things? Maybe if we’re lucky, it will feel like Halloween circa 1983. I think it would be adorable seeing little girls running around looking like Eleven with the pink dress and jacket, possibly a little blood dripping from their nose. Yes?
2. Stranger Things Video Games
According to iHorror, the creators of Stranger Things want to make a video game and fans love this idea. Help Eleven and the rest of the gang defeat the bad guys? Go on a journey to find Will? Defeat the monster? Decode messages with Christmas lights? All awesome possibilities for a video game!
1. Stranger Things Pop! Funkos
This is a fan-made toy, however, I’m sure there will be Stranger Things Pop! Funko’s before we know it. When the time comes, which character would you collect first and what features would you want to see? Possibly Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) in plastic form holding a bunch of Christmas lights? I think yes!
