We Are Sad to Report the Loss of Another Great Actor – Rest in Peace Donald Moffat

We are saddened to once again pay our respects to the loss of another great member of our beloved community. Donald Moffat, known for his roll as M.T. Garry, the commander of outpost 31 in the iconic John Carpenter film The Thing has passed away at the age of 87.

Moffat was a mainstay in Hollywood films, appearing in such well known films as, Clear and Present Danger, Earthquake, Logan’s Run, The Right Stuff, The Bonfires of the Vanities, Trapped in Paradise, and one of my all time favorites, Regarding Henry.
