Troma Entertainment is celebrating 50 Years with the release of The Toxic Avenger Collection 4K Box Set, theatrical screenings of The Toxic Avenger, and a Toxic Crusaders video game.
The Tox Box is a brand new 4K restoration of the entire Toxic Avenger series, housed in an 8 disc box set with hours of extras, special features, and commentary tracks, and includes a limited edition postcard. It will be available on August 29th, 2023.
Troma has partnered with Alamo Drafthouse to present the new 4K transfer of The Toxic Avenger in theaters around the United States. Select screenings will be accompanied by appearances by Lloyd Kaufman as well as Toxic Avenger cosplayers, Tromettes, and a raft of merchandise giveaways and contests.
Retroware Games is developing a retro beat-em-up video game based on the cult classic Toxic Crusaders series. It is set to release in 2024, and a demo is currently playable on Steam.
