Thoughts on Steel City Con 2025 – Event Review

I attended the recent Steel City Con in Monroeville,PA  which ran from December 5th-7th 2025. What’s it all about?

“Steel City Con is a large pop culture convention focusing on comics, celebrities, sci-fi, horror and gaming”

Read on for my thoughts!

Let’s Get This Show On The Road

I got there at 8:00 am and was let in the door at 9:40 am. The first thing I did was get my  3 day wristband. Shout out to the awesome Steel City Con staff for an amazing job. After getting my badge I looked  around the con to see which vendors, guests, attractions, etc. were there.

Next I went to see if the celebrity  guests I wanted to see were around, and they were. The first celebrity guest I interacted with was John Stamos  who played Uncle Jessie on Full House/Fuller House. I got his autograph and picture. He was very nice to talk to.

After Meeting John I walked around the con some more and then met my 2nd celebrity: Nick Swordson from Grandma’s Boy, Just Go With It and Grown Ups 2. I got his autograph as well.

After Nick, I met Ken Kirzinger who played Jason Voorhees in Freddy vs. Jason and got an autograph and my picture taken with him

After Meeting Ken I walked around the con again and went to the Steel City Con Merch Table where they had autographs from past guests to purchase. I picked up a few! The first I purchased was an autograph from Steve Burns who played Steve on Blue’s Clues. I also got an autograph of Masiela Lusha who played Carmen Lopez on George Lopez.

Time For Some Panels

After the meet and greets and some wondering around it was time for panels.

First I attended  a panel with Dee Snyder who is the lead singer of the heavy metal band Twisted Sister

Second I attended a panel with Geezer Butler who worked alongside Ozzy Osbourne in Black Sabbath.

Third, I attended a panel with John Stamos and Dave Coulier who played Uncle Jessie and Joey Gladstone on Full House respectively.

You can watch some of the panels below.

Time for Photo Op

After I did the second panel with Geezer Butler my friend invited me to do a photo op with Charlie Sheen from Two and A Half Men. Mission accomplished!

Overall I had a great time and I’m looking forward to coming back again for a future show!
