New from Vertical Entertainment: Vibeke Muasya’s Revenge Thriller, ‘Rushed’ (2021)

New from Vertical Entertainment and Zentropa is the revenge thriller, Rushed. Go behind the dark corners of fraternities as a mother gets her revenge. Check out the trailer below!

Synopsis:

RUSHED is the story of Barbara O’Brien, an Upstate NY, Irish Catholic mother who says her rosary daily, then swears profusely as she drives her kids to school. Barbara’s life is ruined when her son, Jimmy, a college freshman, is involved in a fraternity hazing incident. Barbara resorts to extreme measures when she encounters empty promises in Washington, D.C.

The new thriller was directed by Vibeke Muasya (Lost in Africa). Siobhan Fallon Hogan (Saturday Night Live TV series) wrote the script and also plays the main character. The film stars Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgement Day), Jake Weary (It Follows), Peri Gilpin (Frasier), and former NFL player Phil Villapiano.

Rushed will be released in select theaters and on VOD on August 27, 2021.
