PopHorror Let's Get Scared
JFR Productions just announced that they have completed their latest feature-length horror film directed by John Renna (Marshall): Humbug. The film stars Jason John Beebe (Ask Me to Dance), Olivia Young (Bread by Dawn), and Adrian Esposito (Bury My Heart with Tonawanda). Watch for it this holiday season!
Synopsis
A normal guy (Renna) is bitten by a rare insect while looking for Christmas decorations to bloody and sometimes hilarious consequences. He is slowly transformed into a walking incubation chamber with a penchant for blood(and condiments). The man’s personality, wants and desires are replaced by an insect-like instinct to survive. The creature is attracted to food, warmth and sounds that will cover up the unsettling noises of your brains being eaten from the inside out.
The creature kills many people including Mrs. Reeves and her son Billy leaving Widow and ex father Brandon Reeves(Beebe) to try and cope with the loss by hunting down his family’s killers. This doesn’t sit right with Detective Travolta(Adrian Esposito) Who is just trying to do his job and bring this killer to justice. Things are just not adding up and the only lead anyone can get is from the enigmatic Theodore(Christian Chase) but no one is ready to look for a bug zombie just yet.
