E.E. Tallent and Sam Arias Mostovoy’s ‘HALLOW IAN HORROR HOUR’ – TV Series Review

Anyone over 35 can fondly remember the days of USA’s Up All Night or Joe Bob Briggs Monstervision. Maybe some of you even had a favorite late-night horror host. Back in the days of public access, everyone had a chance to relive what they loved. For a lot of us, that love was for horror and spooky hosts. E.E. Tallent and Sam Arias Mostovoy’s The Hallow Ian Horror Hour is a gateway to all of those fond memories such as Trick or Treat night with horror movie marathons on almost every channel. Those days are a lifetime away for some people. The Hallow Ian Horror Hour nestles us right into a safe place where we can relive those moments and also let out a good laugh.

Welcome to the Graveyard

The Hallow Ian Horror Hour from the Graveyard Gang is like one of those late-night shows where you may have dropped a little too much LSD, and I love that fact about it. The setting and feel remind me of why I love campy indie horror flicks. The show is dedicated to short films, music videos, and more. Each episode is like a sampler of a lot of hidden talent.

Hallow Ian Horror Hour is based out of Seattle and highlights artists from all over the northwest. Each episode brings something brand new. Even the comedy skits aren’t played over and remain fresh. In the time I have taken to watch this show, I have earned a pretty affectionate attitude for it. What I saw is like a gut punch of memories, and there’s always something new to see.

The Rundown

I give the series creators credit because of their dedication. The show reminds me of a close unit, and that’s what makes me the most interested. It’s friends doing fun things together and getting to host all kinds of indie films. Ideas like this are rare by today’s standards. We have to go over the top with the genre we are trying to make the film in. Nobody makes movies out of love, and if they do, you will rarely hear about it. Hallow Ian Horror Hour fills that gap for me and keeps me entertained. I definitely went down a rabbit hole when being offered this review. I couldn’t find one thing wrong with it even if I tried. It’s a lot of fun to watch. You can turn the lights down and laugh at the ice maker instead of being terrified of that sound.

In The End

The Hallow Ian Horror Hour won me over almost instantly. You can feel the passion for the genre in the air when tuning in. For me it’s a nonstop late-night horror show, the way it should be made. I honestly look forward to diving into the rest of these episodes and losing myself for a while. While the world changes, it becomes more dark and gloomy. Shows like this dominated the golden era because everyone wanted that escape from whatever real-life horrors they witnessed. You can find the Hallow Ian Horror Hour on YouTube with new episodes airing often. Give yourself a break and become a kid again. The world needs more of this. You can find Hallow Ian Horror Hour on YouTube streaming for free.

About Craig Lucas

I hail from rural PA where there isn't much to do except fixate on something. Horror was, and still is my fixation. I have 35 years of horror experience under my belt, I love the horror community and it loves me.
