‘ANGELS FALLEN: WARRIORS OF PEACE’ (2024) – Movie Review

I just watched Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace, the latest release from Uncork’d Entertainment. The film starts by focusing in on a person who can see the future and what hell has in store for them. It isn’t long after, we meet the angels and the demons.

Check out the trailer below, then read on for my thoughts!

Synopsis

Haunted by the war in Iraq, a depressed and faithless Gabriel is approached by the mysterious Balthazar, who recruits Gabriel to stop the evil Archangel Michael from raising an army of the dead to take over the world. With the help of his old platoon, Gabriel sets off to find the Warriors of Peace, their only hope in defeating Michael and his army.

Ali Zamani directed and co-wrote the film. It stars Denise Richards (Starship Troopers), Cuba Gooding Jr. (Men of Honor), William McNamara (Copycat), Randy Couture (The Expendables), and Caitlin O’Connor (Glass Jaw). The cast also features Ken Davitian, Korrina Rico, Monib Abhat, Silvio Simac, and Arifin Putra.

Here’s a look at the poster art!

My Thoughts

What i loved about this movie was that it showed all characters from all different angles. They narrowed in on Gabriel (Played by Josh Burdett) and told the story perfectly. I believe there was romance in the air in the movie as well, but you will have to wait and see. The Special Effects Department did a very good job of cgi for the monsters and i was very impressed. I will say Cuba Gooding Jr.’s performance was phenomenal  the character  he portrayed was spot on.

There are some things they could improve on including how it lagged a little bit near the end. They also could have had more fight scenes with other actors as well. Sometimes it was hard to hear them talk.

Final Thoughts

In closing, I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes action, thriller and a little bit of horror.  If I get the chance to watch it again, I will.

Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace is streaming on digital platforms as of July 9th.
