Mickey Reece’s ‘Agnes’ (2021) Coming Soon to Haunt U.S. Cinemas and VOD

Agnes (our Fantasia fest 2021 review) is the latest film from Climate of the Hunter co-writers Mickey Reese and John Selvidge. Reece also directed. The film stars Molly C. Quinn (Castle TV series, Winx Club TV series) , Sean Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Suicide Squad), Chris Sullivan (This is Us,TV series, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2), Haley McFarland (The Conjuring), Rachel True (The Craft, Sharknado: Heart of Sharkness), Chris Browning (Bosch TV series, Netflix’s Bright) and Jake Horowitz (Vast of Night, Castle Freak).

Synopsis:

A nun’s disturbing behavior sparks rumors of demonic possession at a remote convent. When a priest-in-waiting and his disillusioned mentor are sent to investigate, their methods backfire, leaving a wake of terror and trauma.

I’m definitely going to check this one out! It has a great cast and some strong performances, and it looks like a unique take on a nun movie. How about you?
