Shudder Acquires the Rights to Rob Jabbaz’s Zombie Horror Film, ‘The Sadness’

AMC’s premium streaming service Shudder has snapped up the rights to director Rob Jabbaz’s (our interview) new zombie horror film, The Sadness. The film stars Ying-Ru Chen, Ralf Chiu (Happy Dorm), Wei-Hua Lan (Final Exam), and Regina Lei (76 Horror Bookstore). It will premiere exclusively on Shudder on May 12, 2022.

Synopsis:

The Sadness follows a young couple trying to reunite amid a city ravaged by a plague that turns its victims into deranged, bloodthirsty sadist.
