I watched a lot of wrestling as a kid. The mysterious wrestlers, mostly villains and guys wearing masks, always hailed “from parts unknown.” It added to their sinister aura. Now, in 2018, along comes a horror film that plays off this staple of pro wrestling lore. Boston Film Family, LLC, sends word they’ve released the official trailer for their upcoming feature film Parts Unknown. The wrestling/horror mashup is coming your way in mid-2018.
We brought you the initial news and poster last month. Now check out the trailer and read on for all the release details!
Parts Unknown Synopsis
All beauty must die. After putting their bodies on the line for countless years, a family of professional wrestlers seek a brand new way to satisfy an impeccable bloodlust. This is the story of how the infamous Von Strasser family (of professional wrestling fame) seek to violently reclaim their notorious status through supernatural means despite being blackballed by forces within the industry.
Boston Film Family CEO Richard Chandler wrote, produced, and directed the film. Parts Unknown stars retired pro-wrestler/actor William DeCoff. Pro-wrestling manager/actress Lizzie Havoc also stars alongside Boston Film Family alumni Alexandra Cipolla, Alexander Hauck, and Sarah Michelle. The film also features cameos from indie tag team The Devil’s Doormen, podcast personality Brian Zane, and former pro-wrestler Jake “The Snake” Roberts.
Wrestling and horror can make for a fun combination. This looks like good old fashioned, over the top fun. What do you think? Will you check out Parts Unknown? Tell us in the comments!
