Wild Eye Releasing Drops Creepy New Trailer For ‘The Sitter!’

What’s the most dangerous job in the world? Police Officer? Soldier? High Rise Steel Worker? Deep Sea Fisherman? Nah. If you’re a horror fan worth your salt, you’ll know the correct answer is…BABYSITTER! Aisling Knight is about to find out just how dangerous that job is in The Sitter, from Wild Eye Releasing. The film was shot in a real haunted house in Oxfordshire, England, and we’ve got the first trailer for you right here.

The Sitter Synopsis

The Sitter tells the story of Charlotte (Aisling Knight), a broke college student who gets a gig to house sit for an eccentric couple for a long weekend. She couldn’t believe how lucky she is. When darkness falls, things start to take a far more sinister turn. Charlotte is unable to shake the feeling that her every move is being watched and it is not long before her worst fears are confirmed — there is something else in the house with her…

Richard Kilgour, Jill Buchanan, Samantha Schnitzler, Bjorn Franklin star alongside Knight. Simon Richardson wrote and directed the film, originally titled Darkness Wakes, for Wild Eye Releasing.

Based on the trailer, the story setup looks similar to Lauren Cohan’s The Boy. But instead of some silly, evil toy, there’s some kind of Guillermo Del Toro / H.P. Lovecraft inspired monster running around the house! HOLY SHIT!
