Now that it is the coldest time of the year, the idea of being cozy is at the top of everyone’s mind. Being cozy in 2020 is doubly important and coziness isn’t just about the fuzzy socks, the oversized sweaters, the thick heated blankets or a mug filled with the warmest herbal tea. Nay, nay. Coziness must extend to our nostrils, and that’s where Wicked Good comes in. Wicked Good is A1 when it comes to creating scent environments and the Wicked Good November 2020 box makes no exception. “Come with me, and we’ll be in an oh, so cozy November.” It may not be November anymore, but that doesn’t mean our level of cozy must decrease.
We want to send the biggest of thank you’s to Cheri at Wicked Good. Not only is she one of the nicest people, she creates absolute witchcraft with what she is able to do with scents. I am not being paid to review this box or to say these things about this company, I just truly believe in its quality. So if you aren’t signed up for the monthly box, then you are missing out. All products she makes are vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free, phlalate-free, non-toxic and put into eco-friendly packaging. Let me show you what I mean.
I have been using so much harsh soap and hand sanitizers lately that my hands are screaming for a break. While I am in my own house and away from the germ-filled world that lies outside, I can give my hands a reset with this No-Rinse Foaming Hand Wash. This is a super lightweight, non-greasy formula that refreshes my hands and leaves behind the delicate smell of almond, vanilla, and lavender marshmallows. While the aftermath is a bit sticky at first, just a bit of hand rubbing takes that away leaving your hands smelling like you just stuck them into a warm pastry. Do not replace with with handwashing or hand sanitizer in a COVID situation though. Washing with soap and water is always the best option.
While Wicked Good offers all kinds of products (and I mean almost every beauty or fragrance product you can think of) an oldy but a goody are the perfume rollers. Inside the Wicked Good November 2020 box is fall in a little bottle. It may be winter now, but it is Halloween in my mind 365 days of the year. This smells so lightly and delicately of sweet potatoes, white pumpkin, chai tea, pecans, vanilla, and melty butter. It is a very gentle scent that leans heavily into the vanilla and pumpkin, so this is perfect for those who like pumpkin without the heavy spice.
If you are looking for a stronger perfume option, might I suggest the perfume sprays. I like to spray my hair with perfume, so this is always a go-to option for me. In the Wicked Good November 2020 box, I can make my hair smell of green hazelnut, vetiver, elemi, moss, cedarwood, and roasted oak with the scent English Oak and Hazelnut. This is SUCH a good perfume and slightly on the masculine side, which I never mind. It’s woodsy and sweet with a hint of clean, green herbal notes. It reminds me of a big, knitted sweater.
What cozy night would be complete without a warm candle to put on your side table while you read a scary story during a blowing snowstorm. One of my favorite scents is that of sweet and spicy cider. It brings nothing but good memories. This candle is small but mighty with notes of cranberry chutney, spiced cider, autumn citrus, and Australian sandalwood. The cranberry and citrus make it transition easily between season and is warm and inviting. The sandalwood really grounds the sour notes of the citrus.
I would say that the Wicked Good November 2020 box is a complete win. One thing I really like about the subscription box is the variety of the items inside. It isn’t just perfume (although you can choose that option for only $18 monthly), but it includes things like candles, incense, and more. These boxes are all themed and available until the last day of the month or until they run out. The boxes are $29 a month, and I 100% think they are worth the cost.
