Uncork’d Entertainment Has the Rights to Darren Lynn Bousman’s ‘St. Agatha’

Uncork’d Entertainment is excited to announce that it has acquired the North American rights to the latest film from the incredibly talented director Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw series, Abattoir, Sockmonster). The film is called St. Agatha, and is set in 1950s Georgia. St. Agatha is written by Andy Demetrio, Shaun Fletcher, Sara Sometti Michaels, and Clint Sears. As we previously reported, Octane Entertainment has the worldwide release rights.

The film is about a pregnant con woman named Agatha who needs somewhere to hide and thinks she finds the perfect place inside a 1950s convent. She soon discovers that dark secrets are around every corner, and she will need every bit of inner strength to survive this new nightmare.

The film stars Sabrina Kern (ThirtyOneTwelve 2017), Carolyn Hennesy (True Blood TV series), Courtney Halverson (Unfriended 2014), Trin Miller (The Invoking 2013), and Seth Michaels (Eden 2014). It will be released in theaters and on digital during the first quarter of 2019.
