From The 88 Films Hollow Man Press Release

From the mind of visionary director Paul Verhoeven (RoboCop 1987, Starship Troopers 1997) come two tales of transparent terror!

In Hollow Man, a team of scientists – the ambitious Dr. Sebastian Caine (Kevin Bacon: Apollo 13 1995, Tremors 1990), his ex-girlfriend, Linda (Elisabeth Shue: Back to the Future franchise, Adventures In Babysitting 1987), and colleague Matt (Josh Brolin: Avengers: Infinity War 2018, The Goonies 1985) – have developed a ground-breaking serum for invisibility. Desperate to take their research to the next level, Caine volunteers himself as a test subject with horrifying results…

Hollow Man II tells the story of Michael Griffin (Christian Slater: Mr. Robot TV series, Heathers 1988), an invisible assassin gone haywire. Facing a slow death unless he receives a life-saving antidote, it’s down to biologist Maggie Dalton (Laura Regan: Dead Silence 2007, Mad Men TV series) and homicide detective Frank Turner (Peter Facinelli: The Twilight Saga, Can’t Hardly Wait 1998) to take whatever measures necessary to apprehend this unseeable menace…

Hollow Man

The 3 Disc Collector’s Edition Blu-ray hits the streets on April 22, 2019!

Final Thoughts

Nice! I’ve long contended the sequel is better than the original. It’s an unpopular opinion, I know, but this double Blu-ray release might be just the excuse I need to revisit both films and write a feature article about my assessment. Should be fun. Watch for it!

This looks like an amazing release. Hopefully we see a U.S. / Region 1 release in the near future. I really need to get a region free player.

What do you think? Will you pick up a copy of these invisible man classics on Blu-ray? Tell us in the comments!
