Gore and More: Turbo Kid Sequel is Happening!

If you haven’t had the privilege of watching the goretastic adventure movie, Turbo Kid… you’re missing out and should watch it on Netflix right now! It follows the adventure of a young boy who is trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world and decides to take on an evil tyrant by becoming the persona of one his favorite comic book heroes. For the fans, guess what? A Turbo Kid sequel is happening!!!

This picture pretty much sums up my feelings about the sequel. Hell yes!

According to The Joblo Network, RKSS Films aka the creators of Turbo Kid, have officially confirmed there will be a sequel and have received the greenlight from Téléfilm Canada and SODEC. We don’t know much yet, but the story allegedly will follow directly after the original and we can’t wait to hear more details!

But wait, there’s more news! In addition to the sequel, a prequel to Turbo Kid has been released in the form of a music video, yes that’s right… a music video! It’s a Le Matos/Pawws collaboration called “No Tomorrow” and shows Apple’s story and builds up to her first meeting with The Kid aka Turbo Kid. The video is a little over 8 minutes and is totally worth a watch!

Finally! A friend that’s not a corpse.

After watching the video, no wonder Apple was so happy to meet The Kid. I mean, her only friend for a long time was a corpse and not the kind that talks back, taking the term “friends until the very end” to a whole new level. But I adore her even more now! Hopefully, more news on the Turbo Kid sequel will develop soon and until then at least we have this awesome music video and the original to watch!
