Trailer Premiere for Award Winning Independent Thriller ‘Devil’s Cove’

Up until recently, I had never heard of Devil’s Cove. I can’t wait to check it out now, though. Are you ready watch an exciting new film that’s being referred to as a “roguishly electrifying indie take on Thelma & Louise that pits an interracial lesbian couple, fresh from a killing, against a dark highway?” I mean… with a description like that, how can you not want to watch that?

Check out the trailer, poster, and other information for the film down below.

This film is Erik Lundmark’s directorial debut. The cast includes Christelle Baguidy, Chloe Traicos, Cameron Barnes, Michael Keyes, and Sammy Anderson.

Official Synopsis for Devil’s Cove:

New girl in town Toni (Baguidy) is unhappy in her marriage to the vehement Rick. Not surprisingly, her eye catches that of another – Jackie (Traicos in an award-nominated performance), a woman who recently escaped a jail sentence involving the death of her child.

When Rick (Barnes) gets wind of the passionate relationship his wife is having with Jackie, he erupts into a fiery rage. In an act of self-defence, Toni and Jackie end Rick’s life. To stay out of jail, the duo hit the road – one with many twists and turns in it.

Devil’s Cove was made for just $10,000 by Leomark Studios and premiered at the New York City International Film Festival. It was nominated for two Best Actress awards (for Chloe Traicos) and Best Original Screenplay. The director also won a Global Accolade at the Global Accolade Awards.

Devil’s Cove will be opening in theaters on August 3. Will you be checking it out? Let us know and stay tuned for more updates as they come!
