Move Over Jack Frost: ‘The Snowman’ is Here – Official Trailer

During this scorching hot summer, many people can’t wait for the coolness of winter. For those who are counting the days, you should check out the official trailer for The Snowman. It may just send a chill down your spine!

The Snowman is directed by Tomas Alfredson (Let the Right One In) from a screenplay written by Hossein Amini, Matthew Michael Carnahan, and Peter Straughan. It is based on the best selling novel by Jo Nesbø. The film has an amazing cast starring Rebecca Ferguson, Michael Fassbender, Val Kilmer, J.K. Simmons, and Chloë Sevigny.

Official Synopsis:

Detective Harry Hole (Fassbender) investigates the disappearance of a woman whose pink scarf is found wrapped around an ominous-looking snowman.

First, I’m completely stoked that Alfredson is directing this film. He did stunningly beautiful work in Let the Right One In – it is definitely one of my favorite foreign films. I’m sure he will do great things with The Snowman as well. Second, I absolutely love Michael Fassbender. He’s a fantastic actor who always dominates the screen.
