Last year as I was scrolling through my news feed on Facebook when I came across a movie that was looking for funding. The premise alone made me want to support the film without even having a single frame shot. I reached out to the writer and first-time co-director of the film, Christopher A. Micklos, and he was ever so generous to actually grant me my very first interview! After speaking with him, I got even more excited to see his film The Nursery! Now, after a year later, the trailer has been released and I can’t wait to share it with all of you! Check it out!
Official Synopsis of The Nursery:
The Nursery is a micro-budget, independent horror movie in the tradition of Halloween, Phantasm, and House of the Devil. When a damaged college sophomore babysits for a family with a tragic past, she finds herself stalked by a sinister presence and haunted by ghosts from her own past. Soon, she and her friends must confront the angry spirit hunting them down one-by-one on a deliberate march toward its ultimate prey.

I am also very excited to announce and congratulate the whole cast and crew on having The Nursery become an Official Selection for the 2017 Halloween Horror Picture Show. The festival takes place in Tampa, FL. The Nursery will screen at the festival the weekend of September 29th-October 1st! So, if you happen to be in that area around that time be sure to check it out.
I’m not going to lie… you will make me jealous as I can’t wait to check it out! The film does not have an exact release date at this time as it is just starting it’s festival fun. Be sure to check back to PopHorror for all the latest info on The Nursery!
