PopHorror Let's Get Scared
Recently, we were lucky enough to not only review but interview the cast for the awesome horror film The Control Group and we’re happy to announce that a DVD release is coming soon! We definitely cant’ wait to get our hands on it, what about you?
Wild Eye Releasing has announced the Cable and Digital HD release of The Control Group. The film is directed and written by Peter Hurd and stars Brad Dourif (The Child’s Play series) who plays a mad scientist. The DVD release comes out in May, but fans can begin watching this amazing feature anytime via cable and digital platforms including iTunes, Dish Network, Vudu, Xbox, Google Play, and YouTube. A DVD release is planned for May.
Official Synopsis:
“Five college students wake up in an abandoned, locked-down insane asylum – with no idea how they got there and no means of escape. They discover that they are the subjects of secret experiments, but these tests have awakened something that cannot be explained by science. The group must now fight to escape both the human and supernatural threats if they are to survive and break out of their prison.”
We love this film and highly recommend it to everyone. The Control Group is a unique story with a wonderful cast. Give it a watch for yourself and if you like it you’ll be able to buy your very own copy in May.
