Leatherface will see an exclusive DirecTV release on September 21, 2017, with a limited theatrical run and full VOD release through Lionsgate revved up for October 20, 2017.

Official Synopsis:

Prequel about teenage Leatherface who escapes from a mental hospital with three other inmates, kidnaps a young nurse and takes her on a road trip from hell. Along the way, they are pursued by an equally deranged lawman out for revenge, one of these teens is destined for tragedy and horrors that will destroy his mind, molding him into the monster we now call Leatherface.

Viewer beware, the red band trailer is graphic and gives us way more than a tease. Leatherface is going to be brutal and one hell of a prequel. I can’t wait to see more… this is only the beginning! See for yourself, courtesy of Bloody-Disgusting and Dread Central, and let us know what you think!
