Jérôme Cohen-Olivar’s ‘The 16th Episode’ Hits Theater, Digital And VOD

Are you ready to finally check out The 16th Episode? It is hitting both theaters and Digital and On Demand June 28th! This film is definitely up my alley. Listen to this great tagline: How many views is your life worth? Additionally, I’m always up for a demon film. Add in some soul-searching YouTubers and a satanic ritual, and that’s a yes from me! Let’s take a closer look at the film, check out some cool stills and watch the trailer to get us ready for The 16th Episode!

Film Synopsis:

Three YouTubers, each with their own inner demons, visit the mythical town of Casablanca. With their viewership down, they get invited to attend a satanic ritual and soon realize that maybe all their audience wants is to see them die.

The film is directed and written by Jérôme Cohen-Olivar (Kandisha 2008, Little Horror Movie 2018 – read our review here). It stars Cody Heuer (Proximity 2016), Rebecca Ramon (Housing Skid Row 2015, Suppressant 2015) and Einar Kuusk (The Most Beautiful Day 2015).

This film looks like it’s going to be great! I believe the trailer offers enough intrigue without giving away the whole plot. The premise is cool as well. I am a bit of a sucker for updated technology movies. It had to be done at some point, integrate current technology in horror films. Sure beats the “no signal” cell phone films. I am going to check this one out. How about you guys? Yay or nay? Let us know in the comments below! Be sure to stay tuned to PopHorror for all your news, reviews, interviews and much more!
