Witter Entertainment has joined forces with Broke Horror Fan to bring great genre-tainment to VHS. The folks at Witter send word they’ve got some all new VHS releases in their web store. Foremost among them? An all new Collector’s Edition VHS of DREAD’s killer clown film, Terrifier! Psst… you can read our review of the film here. Did I say “edition?” I meant editions. Plural. They’ve got the regular and the bloody variant!
That’s not all. They’ve got tons of other VHS movies and collector’s stuff available as well, including Director’s Cut (2018 – read our review here). Check out the details below!

From The Witter Entertainment Press Release
Officially licensed from DREAD, Terrifier has been one of our most popular tapes on VHS. We did not plan on any drops in 2020, but we’ve received a lot questions as to when it will again be available. So, here it is, Art the Clown lovers and tapeheads: the only scheduled drop online for 2020! Friday 1.17.20 at 12PM EST.
We were lucky enough to have artist Vasilis Zikos provide a “bloody” variant (right), limited to 50 copies on the site. The standard edition (left) will be restocked while supplies last. Once they’re gone, if you happen to be in Mystic Connecticut for Wicked Weekend 2/21 – 2/23 we’ll have some on hand, otherwise it won’t be returning to the lineup anytime soon.
Terrifier on VHS includes exclusive extras, like a wonderful letter from director Damien Leone and tape-only intro from Art the Clown himself, David Howard Thornton. It’s presented in 4:3 aspect ratio to really nail that throwback VCR movie-night feel.
Check out the full line of special edition VHS tapes over at the Witter Entertainment website store! Super cool!
Fun stuff! You can also get Adam Green’s Victor Crowley, Kevin Smith’s Yoga Hosers, the documentary Survival of the Film Freaks and more. All on VHS! Grab your copies before they sell out!
