Take A Look At ‘American Horror Story’ S7’s New Monster!

Every season of American Horror Story has had its freaky monsters. In Murder House, we had the Rubber Man, a featureless BDSM specter made of shiny black latex. We got the gloriously hideous Bloody Face from Asylum who wore a mask made of human skin a la Leatherface from Texas Chain Saw Massacre. If we weren’t freaked out by a headless Kathy Bates in Coven, we were terrified of the Minotaur, an undead slave wearing the head of bull. The jawless Twisty the Clown gave us all coulrophobia during Freak Show. He didn’t show his face much, but no one wanted to meet the drill bit thrusting Addiction Demon from Hotel or the bloodthirsty Piggy Man from Roanoke. So what can we expect from season 7?

Unlike season 6, creator Ryan Murphy isn’t keeping the storyline for season 7 a secret from fans. So far, we know quite a few tidbits for the 2017 episodes, including the return of Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson and the addition of Billy on the Street’s Billy Eichner and Billie Lourde (Scream Queens TV series) to the cast. Although the season will begin on election night 2016, neither Hillary Clinton nor Donald Trump will be major characters in the long run, although they may make an appearance in the first episode.

Speaking of politicians, the first monster design shared for the upcoming season of American Horror Story reminds me a bit of one of the major US political parties. What do you guys think?

It’s uncanny.

There’s also this quote from Murphy from way back in October where he said,

“Next year, we will be going back to some Freak Show characters, deeper histories and mythologies. So we’re sort of still exploring season 4 in season 7.”

A revisit to season 4? Yes, please! I love it when the seasons intermingle. I can only hope we don’t have to wait much longer for American Horror Story: The Antichrist with the little blonde Damien kid from season 1. Don’t make us wait until the little bugger is in high school, Mr. Murphy!
