Hello, Halloqueens! You may recall that we unboxed Apocalyptic Beauty in the past, and we absolutely loved it. Between the eye shadows, lipstick, glitters and setting spray, everything had a spooky theme, and you know we were all about that. Plus, the makeup itself was quality. We are back at it again with part of their Apocalyptic Beauty Halloween 2019 Collection, and you have got to check it out!
We want to send a huge thank you to Apocalyptic Beauty for sharing some of their awesome Halloween 2019 collection with us. They sent a lipstick, a lip gloss, four loose glitters and four eye shadows. I didn’t know which pieces of the collection we were getting, but I am pretty excited for what they chose. Let’s get swatching!
If there was one thing in the Apocalyptic Beauty Halloween 2019 Collection that I really wanted to try, it was the Mojo lipstick. In the last unboxing, we received a gorgeous blood red, but I was excited for a Halloween nude, and Mojo is it. This is a dark pink nude (although the site says it’s red; I would have to disagree) with gorgeous gold glitter. The more you wear it, the stronger the glitter shows. I don’t normally like lipsticks with gold glitter, but I am a big fan of Mojo. This is a returning color from the Voodoo Queen collection. You can get yours for $12.
Next up is a hellishly cool lip gloss called Brimstone, in a metallic orange color, and it is orange FOR SURE. This is perfect for warm makeup looks and autumnal/Halloween themes. The color is pretty buildable, so if you like it sheer, pop it on top of a matte lipstick to add some dimension. Or, you can build it up a little to create a more opaque orange. You can grab this one for $8.85, but only until November first, so get it while you can.
I adore the Apocalyptic Beauty glitters. While I don’t use glitter often, I think theirs are so gorgeous and original. The Halloween glitters are no exception.
First up is one of my favorites: Dracula’s Bride. This one had a variety of colors and sizes, like holographic red crosses (right side up or upside down to your liking), bats, black and white dots and fine red glitter. This may be one of my favorite glitters that I have unboxed from them. Next is a very Halloween looking chunky glitter called Cauldron. Bring out your inner glam witch with big black skull and crossbones and orange and clear circular glitter. This looks so classically Halloween. Another chunky glitter from the Apocalyptic Beauty Halloween 2019 Collection is Ghoulish Delight. I love the color scheme with black, purple and green circles and dots. This is a simple style, but it screams Halloween.
The final glitter is so witchy and pretty and mystical. I LOVE it. This is the Phantasy glitter, and it has iridescent purple stars, black spirals and shift teal and blue dots. This glitter looks so elegant and magical that you’ll want to get your hands on it, but do it quickly. All of these glitters are only available on the site until November 1st. Each one is $4.25, or you can get the bundle for $16 and save some money!
Now, we have come to my favorite part of the Apocalyptic Beauty Halloween 2019 Collection unboxing: the eye shadows! I love their eye shadows for their colors and quality, so I was really excited to see what the Halloween 2019 collection had in store. They are swatched below, but I have to say that neither my swatches nor the swatches on the website give the colors any justice. These are gorgeous, and I definitely have a favorite.
First up is Creeping Terror, which is a non-lip safe glittery yellow-green with shifting gold/green/blue sparkle. This color is light and delicate, and very different from the more intense matte green Frog’s Breathe color that we unboxed previously. This isn’t as autumnal as I would expect, but it is still a pretty color. All of the following colors are lip safe.
Next up is a GORGEOUS red that will make for a fantastic lipstick topper as well as an eye shadow. Blood Feast is a metallic dark red, and I am just in love with it. If you are adventurous with your eye shadow, then you will absolutely adore this for a dark and smoldering look. Because it is such a rich red, it may leave a slight stain on fairer skin, but that is the case for reds, purples and dark pinks across the board.
Next from the Apocalyptic Beauty Halloween 2019 Collection is a shadow called Premature Burial. I love a good black eye shadow which is a staple in any good Goth girl’s makeup bag. This is definitely one of the good ones. Preamture Burial is a standard black, but it has a 4-color shifting sparkle! It goes from red to orange to yellow to gold, and I am LOVING it! The final eye shadow has got to be my favorite and it’s called Burn, Witch, Burn. This burnt orange almost seems neutral, but then hits you with a blue, purple and red-orange sparkle, and I am living for this shade. It is a pure autumnal shade with a surprise. These powders are $5 apiece, or you can grab the set for $18. Keep in mind, all four of these eye shadows will only be available until November 1st.
The final item from the Apocalyptic Beauty Halloween 2019 Collection unboxing is the Candy Corn Badass Setting Spray. I adore their setting sprays because of just how good they smell. We received the Pandora scent in the last unboxing, and this one smells like the best of candy corn. It is sweet and vanilla-like, and it makes your face smell like a tasty treat while making sure your makeup stays put. You can grab this until November 1st for only $8.
That’s all for the Apocalyptic Beauty Halloween 2019 Collection unboxing. As before, I loved these pieces of their Halloween collection. The shadows blend really nicely, the liquid lipstick has good staying power, and the chunky glitters are so damn pretty. If you want to shop their Halloween collection, you can do so HERE. Keep one spooky eyeball on PopHorror, because we have more Spooktober goodness headed your way. Even though these items were sent to me, I was not paid for this review, and my opinions on the products are mine.
