PopHorror Let's Get Scared
At PopHorror, we cover pretty much anything to do with horror or sci-fi movies. But I think we are in for a real treat when it comes to Steven Spielberg’s latest film Ready Player One. This trailer should have fans of both genres excited. It has so many references to other movies just in the trailer alone, from Back to the Future, Stephen King’s Christine and even… Freddy Krueger! Official synopsis of Ready Player One:
When the creator of an MMO called the Oasis dies, he releases a video in which he challenges all Oasis users to find his Easter Egg, which will give the finder his fortune. Wade Watts finds the first clue and starts a race for the Egg.
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m pretty excited to see what other pop culture icons and Easter eggs are going to appear in Ready Player One.
The film stars Hannah John-Kamen (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Black Mirror), Mark Rylance (The BFG), Ben Mendelsohn (Rogue One), Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead), T.J. Miller (Cloverfield, Deadpool), Tye Sheridan (X-Men: Apocalypse) and horror scream queen Olivia Cooke (Bate’s Motel).
