A new clip has been dropped for the upcoming film, Child’s Play. From Orion Pictures presents comes a contemporary re-imagining of the 1988 horror classic. This film was directed by Lars Klevberg (Polaroid 2015) and written by Tyler Burton Smith (Quantum Break video game). It is produced by Seth Graham-Smith (The Lego Batman Movie 2017) and David Katzenberg (IT: Chapter 1 2017). The cast includes Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation TV series), Gabriel Bateman (Lights Out 2016 – read our review here), Brian Tyree Henry (Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse 2018), and Star Wars’ Mark Hamill as the voice of Chucky.
Synopsis:
The story follows Karen (Aubrey Plaza), a single mother who gifts her son, Andy (Gabriel Bateman), a Buddi doll, unaware of its more sinister nature.
