‘Shed of the Dead’ (2019) Updated Release Info

Shed of the Dead tells the story of nimble-fingered, figurine war-gamer Trevor, AKA Casimir the Destroyer, and his best friend Graham, the knightly Sir Brandt. The dynamic duo are all that stands between the devilish hoards of undead and and the salvation of mankind! Well, at least in their alter-ego fantasies, they do! The British zombie comedy will make its world premiere in the U.S. and at the Sci-Fi London Film Festival soon, with a digital release to follow.

Shed of the Dead Synopsis

Trevor is in-between jobs. He spends his days avoiding his nagging wife by hiding out in his shed and painting figurines for his war games with his agoraphobic friend, Graham. Together, they dream of their fantasy hero, the battle mage Casimir the Destroyer. When Mr. Parsons arrives to evict Trevor, everything gets put on hold as a zombie apocalypse starts. Now his primary concern – save his wife or get out of town!

Drew Cullingham (Black Smoke Rising 2012) directed the film, which stars Jason Voorhees himself, Kane Hodder! Shed of the Dead

Shed of the Dead premieres in North Hollywood at the Laemmle Theatre on May 17. It then plays across the pond the following day, May 18, at the Sci-fi London Film Festival with a cast and crew Q&A following. After a theatrical release, which will take place in at least four countries, the film will be available on DVD and Digital platforms on June 6!

Final Thoughts

Looks like a lot of fun! The filmmakers are calling it one part Shaun of the Dead and one part 28 Days Later. What an amazing cast, too! It looks like we’ll have plenty of chances to catch it this summer on the big or small screen.
