Shed seems to be an independent horror movie with skin-stealing monsters. But really, it’s about love. A tiny crew of independent filmmakers made the film in Columbia, South Carolina in late 2018…during a hurricane. It is bloody, sexy, weird and transgressive. In short: we all need to see it! The folks behind the movie sent us a new teaser and some stills from the production. Check out the official (not 100% safe for work) trailer below, then read on for all the new stuff!
Shed follows a large group of friends partying in a cabin in the woods as they are preyed on and attacked by skin-stealing monsters. Fight, fuck or die!
Well, then! If that synopsis doesn’t tell you exactly what you’re in for, I don’t know what to say! Hah hah! I love it!
Shed was written, directed, produced, and edited by David Axe (The Theta Girl 2017 – read our review here). It stars Mike Amason (The Theta Girl 2017), Morgan Jones (Creep 2004), Sanethia Dresch (Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever 2009), Helen Marini (The Long Way Home: A Bigfoot Story 2007) and newcomers Emilia Olga and Bradley J. Petit.
So where’s this new teaser clip, you ask? It’s right here… and it’s pretty gory!
Damn! That looks great! I don’t think this film’s gonna be lacking in the blood and guts department, do you? Sweet audio, too!
Speaking of blood and guts, check out these new, behind the scenes stills from the production!
The spirit of independent horror filmmaking is still going strong! That’s great to see. I love these small budget efforts. This one looks particularly fun. Guerrilla filmmaking at its finest!
I’ve seen enough to put this one on my “must watch” list. What about you? Are you excited to see Shed? Tell us in the comments!
Oh, and don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled (see what I did there?) for the poster when this film starts making the rounds…
