As we reported earlier, South By Southwest (SXSW) 2020 has been cancelled due to Coronavirus fears. That’s bad news for convention goers, local businesses, and filmmakers looking to showcase their stuff. The films slated for SXSW represent a lot of hard work. A lot of effort: blood, sweat and tears. And you know what? They deserve all the love and attention you can give them, even without the conference taking place. One such project? Aaron Morgan’s hair raising short film Seek!
Check out the trailer below, then read on for all the details!
Seek Synopsis
Estranged sisters Heidi and Jordan have been driving all night when they come across a dilapidated roadside park and bathroom. Horrific events follow when a mischievous resident inhabiting the bathroom demands to play a sinister game. Featuring practical effects by two-time Academy Award Nominee Arjen Tuiten (Maleficent, Wonder, Pan’s Labyrinth, and upcoming Ghostbusters: Afterlife) based on concept designs by WETA Workshop. VFX by Rogelio Salinas and Todd Perry (Black Panther, Avengers, Doctor Strange).
Aaron Morgan wrote and directed the film. It stars Allisyn Snyder, Clare Grant, Steve Agee, and Sarah Anne Williams.
