Roll Up the Universe With ‘Katamari Damacy’ Reroll

In 2004, I had three things: my girl, my car and my Playstation 2. We would hang out in her bedroom playing the Playstation 2 all day after school. Then Katamari Damacy came out, and we ended up playing it with the whole family. Quickly, the game became a way for me to bond with her family and soon became part of the family. It’s a simple game that anyone could get into and just as fun to watch as it is to play. This game holds a special place in my heart, and in December, I’ll have a chance to reroll the ol’ Katamari to end the chaos of the universe once more.

Simple Controls, Easy to Understand

Katamari Damacy Reroll will keep the simple controls of the 2004, although they have added motion controls to the Nintendo Switch version. The updated graphics in the trailer look amazing, while still evoking the beloved original art style. This game looks to impress once again, and the multiplayer aspect will attract anyone who plays their Nintendo Switch with friends. Pull the joy cons out and you and a friend could be rolling up everything in your path.

Roll a Whole Family Up Into A Giant Ball

The king of the cosmos has sent his prince to earth to get enough materials to repopulate the stars. The game takes you from picking up paper clips and buttons to rolling around the block picking up anything smaller than you. The very colorful style and cute look distracts from the terror that you cause. Sometimes you will roll a whole family up into this giant ball that will soon become a star in the night sky. Each level pits you against time to make a ball that is at least a certain size so it can replace a star that is missing.

Rolling that Katamari

Coming to PC and Nintendo Switch

PC players can pick up this amazing game on December 7, 2018, while owners of the Switch will get the physical copy on December 20th. Spend the day rolling around remembering those good ol’ days. Katamari Damacy Reroll will continue to roll into the hearts of many at the end of 2018. It should be a more moderately priced game at the time when gifts are being exchanged. This game is a great way to surprise someone this holiday season.
