We’ve just gotten some news on the most recent project coming from Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw franchise, St. Agatha 2018 – read our review here), a horror short called Good Girl (read our review here). The Three Tales Production will premiere as a Semi-Finalist at the Burbank International Film Festival. Read on for more details!

This dark thriller was directed by Wesley Alley (Sockmonster 2017 – read our review here), who co-wrote the script with The Voices’ Bradley Fowler. It was produced by Alley, Bousman, Fowler, Amanda Markowitz (Here Piggy Piggy 2019) and Victoria Matlock (Without End: A Fractured Fairy Tale 2017), and stars Zack Ward (A Christmas Story 1983, Freddy vs. Jason 2003 – read our retro review here) and Markowitz. Blumhouse’s Derek Larsen (Halloween 2018) was in charge of editing.

Synopsis:

The film is a seemingly romantic and beautiful story that follows a couple celebrating their ten-year anniversary; however, the occasion they are celebrating is far more sinister than it appears.

Good Girl will screen on Saturday, September 7th at 7pm at the AMC Burbank. The film starts out as a seemingly romantic story that follows a couple celebrating their 10-year anniversary, but we soon find out that the occasion they are celebrating is far more sinister.

Being touted as “a dark, emotional, and suspenseful thriller that audiences will love,” Good Girl sounds like a good time. Our reviewer loved it, so you might want to check it out as soon as it becomes available.
