Phobos – Subhuman Synopsis

Behind the curtain, something or somebody is trying to repeat successful ancient patterns and change the future of humankind

Phobos (Subhuman) is the first part of a two-game series. The plot is based on current sociopolitical standards combined with ancient astronomical indisputable clues. It constructs a fictional and at the same time strangely familiar world for the player to experience. In the game, we follow the stories of two characters (Emmanuel & Danae) trying to reveal a great mystery surrounding the modern city of Athens in 2047.

The game emphasizes the element of empathy. Empathy is the force that drives us to connect with people and without it, society as a whole can be dismantled, eradicated in order to be replaced with a balanced structure, a clear, pyramidal order. Things that happen, clues that you find may create a feeling that you are living this in your everyday life.

You can learn more about Phobos – Subhuman at the game’s official website:! I didn’t see a list of target platforms or consoles, but it’s Unreal based, so you can’t rule anything out. Pretty safe to say it will be on STEAM and at least one next gen console.

We’ll bring you more info as it becomes available. In the meantime, tell us what you think of their new footage in the comments!
