Official Trailer: ‘Alien: Covenant’ Looks Brutally Awesome

The newest chapter in the Alien franchise has finally dropped and we can’t be more excited. Check out the official trailer for Alien: Covenant and let us know what you think!

Directed by the wonderful Ridley Scott with a screenplay and story written by Michael Green, John Logan, and Jack Paglen. This new story follows 10 years after the events of Prometheus and has an interesting and brilliant cast starring Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, James Franco, Noomi Rapace, Guy Pearce, Demián BichirDanny McBride, and more.

The story follows a crew of the colony ship Covenant. On their journey, they discover what they think is an uncharted paradise, something no one has ever seen before. Unfortunately for them, it is actually a terrifying and dangerous place, with only one inhabitant, a survivor from the Prometheus expedition.

Alien: Covenant

Based on what we know thus far, I’m pretty freaking excited about Alien: Covenant. I love the storyline and cast and I think it will unite old and new fans of the franchise. By the looks of the trailer, the film will have a serious and dark tone, but with actors like Franco and McBride, there’s bound to be comedic moments throughout the story. Or at least we can hope.

Alien: Covenant is set to be released in theaters on May 19th, 2017 and I bet fans will be lining up at the door to watch it. What do you guys think so far, are you pumped for the next chapter in the Alien franchise?
