This is a new horror anthology with 5 segments directed by Alexander T. Hwang. Unlike many other anthologies, Hwang directed each segment in hopes to create a unified vision. The stories were written by himself along with Richard J. Aguirre, Paul McFall, and Anthony Werley. The cast includes Vernon Wells (Death House), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), and Devanny Pinn (Crossbreed), Jennifer Nangle (Malvolia: The Queen of Screams), Michael Wainwright (Altar), Charles Chudabala (Escape from Ensenada), Hunter Johnson (2 Jennifer), Lara Jean Mummert (Anomaly), Brialynn Massie (Serena Waits), Noel Jason Scott (Hellevator), Colton Wheeler (Ugly Sweater Party), Thomas Haley (Thirteen) and Mark Schaeffer (Prey).
The film was also produced by Kathleen W. Hwang, Thomas Haley, and Anthony Werley.
Official Plot-line for Lilith per the Press Release:
While each segment is a stand alone story, they all feature various forms of Lilith, a demon of the night who “embodies the emotional and spiritual aspects of darkness such as terror and sensuality.” Exorcism, forbidden love, soul collecting, infidelity, and serial killers are just several of the themes that ignites Lilith’s wrath in these horrifying tales.
According to the press release, Lilith will be completed this spring and will be seeking worldwide distribution. I don’t know about y’all, but I’m definitely looking forward to the one especially after watching the trailer. I love stories about Lilith and this female-driven cast is killer!
