No One Is Safe At Camp Trustfall: Everything You Need To Know About ‘Bloody Summer Camp’

A 1980’s throwback slasher film Bloody Summer Camp has begun filming with Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp) attached. The film is written and directed by David Kerr Rose. Alongside Rose stars Cody Faulk, Matthew Sharpe, and Kay Leahy. The first official trailer was released on December 30th.

Synopsis for Bloody Summer Camp

Takes place in 1986 at a summer camp, will follow a group of counselors preparing Camp Trustfall for the new year when one by one they’re stalked and killed by a masked killer dubbed ”Devilface”.

Currently, Bloody Summer Camp’s final crowdfunding campaign begun Tuesday, January 21st and they have already made it halfway to their goal, raising over $5,000 in 5 days. Their first crowdfunder on Kickstarter successfully crowdfunded the start of filming back in June, reached 126% of their goal, raising $12,600. This time they are shooting for $10,000 with the promise that if they hit that mark, they will bring a second horror celebrity into the film.

Along with bringing back a lot of the previous perks from their last crowdfunder (DVD’s, Blu-Rays, t-shirts, posters, die in the film, be the killer), there are also new perks including a limited run of VHS’s, mugs, pins, water bottles, etc. crowdfunding will run until the end of February and filming picks back up on March 14th and is expected to wrap at the end of May with an expected release date of December  2020.

Bloody Summer Camp is being made by Slasher 15 Productions, who have also put out slasher films Curse of the Slasher Nurse and Return of the Slasher Nurse. Check out their campaign – HERE.

I personally can’t wait for this film to be made – everything about it looks freaking amazing! It gives me serious nostalgic 80s vibes and you can never go wrong with a slasher!
