New Trailer For ‘The Nightmare Gallery’ (2018)

At the end of May, we announced that Gravitas Ventures was going to release The Nightmare Gallery this June. Today, the first trailer was released, and it is thrilling! The supernatural thriller follows Buffy alum Amber Benson as a teacher who investigates the disappearance of one of her students.

The Nightmare Gallery follows Dr. Samantha Rand (Benson), an anthropology professor whose life is turned upside-down by the sudden, suspicious disappearance of her star pupil. But when a package of paranormal artifacts arrives on Rand’s doorstep three years later, she embarks on a nightmarish journey into mystery that will shake her and her wife to their cores. Through a terrifying, Lynchian lens, the film follows Professor Rand’s horrifying loss of self in pursuit of an extra-dimensional truth that could doom the world.

The trailer shows the creepy mystery that ends up tearing Dr. Samantha Rand’s life apart, with thrills and chills to keep you on the edge of your seat. This film has an LGBTQ aspect, with the main character being a part of the LGBTQ community. This is the first horror film that I have seen where there is LGBTQ representation other than a sidekick character. Benson’s character takes a deep dive into obsession, insanity and madness. In addition to Benson, the cast includes Kevin Chamberlin (Die Hard: With a Vengeance 1995), Mat Devine (lead singer from the band Kill Hannah), and Mieko Hillman (Teen Wolf TV series). The film was directed by Gene Blalock from a script written by Jhan Harp and Rob Stith, all of whom worked on the TV series, Horror Haiku.

I can’t wait to see this film! From what I have seen so far, it will provide a supernatural mystery that drives even the smartest to utter madness. The Nightmare Gallery¬†will be available on VOD on June 18th.
