2013 Horror Anthology ‘Hi-8 (Horror Independent 8)’ Releasing Soon

Coming soon from Wild Eye is a new horror anthology called Hi-8 (Independent 8).

The directors involed include House Shark’s Ron Bonk (read our interview with him here), Donald Farmer (Shark Exorcist 2015), FX Artist Tony Masiello (Shrek franchise), Marcus Koch (American Guinea Pig: Bloodshock 2016 – read our review here), Tim Ritter (Creep 1995), Todd Sheets (Clownado, Bonehill Road 2017 – read our review here, Dreaming Purple Neon 2016 – read our review here), and Brad Sykes (The Pact 2013, Plaguers 2008). The film stars newcomer Vanessa Nocera, Alaine Huntington (Shark Exorcist 2015), and Mike Malloy (Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance 2015).

The film will be available on DVD, digital, and limited edition VHS on June 10, 2019.

Synopsis:

From the makers of Hi-8, five new twisted tales showcasing the talents of both veteran and emerging horror filmmakers. When two young women take the “Terror Tour” through the underbelly of Hollywood, they are led into a bizarre world of unspeakable horror. Their first stop proves that “Death Has a Conscience,” but doesn’t spare the unlucky souls who stumble into his path. Next, a meeting with the “Dealers of Death” exposes the perils of collecting murder memorabilia. Then, it’s off to a quick “Night Drop,” where your next movie rental may be your last. An actress’ worst nightmare unfolds as she is forced to perform a terrifying “Cold Read,” and our Terror Tour comes to a disturbing end as we meet the ancient, seductive evil known as “The Muse.”
