The upcoming 2018 version will take place after the original Halloween and will disregard ALL sequels. Along with Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer (War For the Planet of the Apes) has joined the cast as Laurie’s daughter, Karen Strode. Andi Matichak will play Laurie’s granddaughter, Allyson. The film is written by David Gordon Green along with Danny McBride. John Carpenter will score, executive produce and serve as a film consultant. Nick Castle, along with a stuntman actor, James Jude Courtney, will play Michael Myers.
Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.
To say I am excited about this is an understatement. I am a Michael Myers fangirl. It will be interesting to see what they come up with for this sequel. It is shaping up with a great cast, writers, and producers. I believe if John Carpenter is involved, we are in for a treat. Filming set to begin in January. Set to release in theaters October 2018. We are anxiously awaiting a full trailer for Halloween Returns. How about you? Looking forward to this one? Let us know!
