Mystery Thriller, ‘A Dark Place,’ Is Coming Soon

Coming in August from Gravitas Ventures is a mystery thriller from director Simon Fellows (Malice in Wonderland 2009) called A Dark Place. The film stars Andrew Scott (Victor Frankenstein 2015), Catherine Dyer (Stranger Things TV series), Denise Gough (The Witcher 2015), Bronagh Waugh (The Fall TV series), and Griff Furst (The Magnificent Seven 2016, Dead Water 2019). A Dark Place will be available on Digital HD, Blu-ray, DVD, and On Demand August 13, 2019.

Synopsis:

A Dark Place follows Alex, a twenty-something struggling to put his life back together after mistakes and a reckless past render his job search hopeless. While pressure from his pregnant girlfriend mounts, he runs into an old friend who gives him an opportunity to turn it all around. Just when things are looking up, Alex discovers a secret that sends him into a self-destructive downward spiral, bringing his two best friends down with him.

This intense, thoughtful film film was named Best Thriller at the Manhattan Film Festival 2018. Check out the trailer below:
