Guess what horror fans?! The rumors are true and a sequel to last year’s Halloween is coming this fall after Labor day. And yes Jamie Lee Curtis is returning and reprising her role as the one and only Laurie Strode in Halloween 2!
Yes, that’s right… Halloween 2, baby!
Judy Greer and Andi Matichak are said to be returning as well. Malek Akkad will produce alongside Blum and Bill Block. Most like the others will return to executive produce as well, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Synopsis for Halloween 2018
It’s been 40 years since Laurie Strode survived a vicious attack from crazed killer Michael Myers on Halloween night. Locked up in an institution, Myers manages to escape when his bus transfer goes horribly wrong. Laurie now faces a terrifying showdown when the masked madman returns to Haddonfield, Ill. — but this time, she’s ready for him.
I’m not an uber fan of the Halloween franchise like some, but I do enjoy some of the films and I totally dug last the one from 2018. I think they went about it perfectly and I have hopes for the sequel. It is set for a 2020 release and we will once again come face to face with Michael Myers. Are you ready for Halloween 2?
