I’m a huge fan of Riverdale and Madelaine Petsch is a huge part of that. She plays the character that you love to hate and hate to love. She’s vindictive yet lovable and I can’t wait to see her new film Clare at 16.
The Night Flier director Mark Pavia is directing this film based on the book series from best selling author Don Roff. He will also write the screenplay. Deadline reports that Madelaine Petsch has not only signed on to star in this upcoming film but will also executive produce.
Synopsis for Clare at 16
“Clare at 16 tells the story of Clare Bleecker, a sixteen-year-old girl who attends catholic school. To the world, she appears to be a normal teenager, an animal lover, and devout vegan living with her grandparents, but like the town she lives in, Clare is more than she appears to be. Underneath her reserved appearance lives a sociopath with dissociative identity disorder — a serial killer.”
According to Bloody Disgusting, the project will be produced through Dead Rabbit Films. David Chackler, Dave Sereny, and Nadia Redler will also serve as Executive Producers. Dennis DeFrehn will produce.
Academy award-winning film composer Joe Renzett will serve as music composer and Academy Award nominated costume designer Marilyn Vance will also be joining the team.
I can’t wait to see more details as they come. This is going to be AMAZING!
