Lorena Villarreal’s Sci-Fi Thriller, ‘Silencio,’ Coming Soon

Coming soon to your living room is a new sci-fi thriller from Uncork’d Entertainment titled Silencio (read our review of the film here). It is being labeled as a time displacement drama in the realm of The Butterfly Effect. The film is directed by Lorena Villarreal (Las Lloronas 2004), and stars some pretty familiar faces, including Rupert Graves (V for Vendetta 2005), Melina Matthews (Mama 2013), John Noble (Lord of the Rings franchise), Michel Chauvet (Archivo 253 2015), and Maarten Dannenberg (Basilisk 2015). Silencio will be available this May.

Synopsis:

In order to save her son’s life, Ana must find a powerful stone. Her grandfather originally discovered it in the Zone of Silence, the Bermuda Triangle of Mexico. Throughout her desperate search, Ana stumbles upon family secrets and enemies who believe the stone’s power is worth killing for.
