As you all know by now, I love indie horror films and one of my most anticipated films of 2018 is Ginger Knight Entertainment’s sadistic clown film Crepitus. So any news about it is always a plus. In a recent press release, it’s been announced that the Mackinaw Trail Winery, based out of Petoskey, MI, is set to release a limited edition Crepitus Beer! The beer is crafted by Mackinaw Trial brewmaster, Theodore Monroe.
And we can’t wait to try it! What about you?
Mmm… Red beer!

This is perfect for any horror memorabilia collector or simply anyone who enjoys good quality beer. It will be red in color and the label will feature an artistic rendition of Crepitus. As mentioned previously, this is a limited edition beer and only 600 or so bottles will be available. Its currently in the vats being brewed, so keep your eyes peeled for it when it’s released!

This is Haynze Whitmore’s feature-film directorial debut. The screenplay was co-written by Eddie and Sarah Renner. The film stars Bill Moseley (Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, The Devil’s Rejects), Chalet Brannan (Cyborg X, Star Trek: Captain Pike and The Sparrows) as Sam, Eve Mauro (Cyborg X, Dexter and CSI Miami) as Brandi (Mom), Caitlin Williams as Eli in her feature-film debut, and a Cheboygan native. Executive producer Lance Paul, (Dark Roads 79, Crazy Sex, 90210 and Buried Cain) as Sheriff Jed, Darren Barcomb (Krampus: The Devil Returns) as Deputy Camden and Johnny Stevenson (Krampus: The Devils Return) as Deputy Blake.
Official Synopsis for Crepitus:
Seventeen-year-old Elizabeth and her younger sister Sam are thrust into circumstances more terrifying than life with their abusive, drunken mother when they are forced to move into their deceased Grandfather’s house. Frightened beyond belief, they are forced to learn horrible things about their family history. Never mind the ghosts in the house, there is something far worse that takes an interest in them … a cannibalistic clown named Crepitus.

Crepitus is in the final stages of post-production, which means we’re one step closer to FINALLY seeing this creepy fantastic clown movie come to life. 2017 was the year of Pennywise and this year will be the year of Crepitus. #supportindiehorror
